1957 Ford Ranchero

Ford called their new pick-up ‘America’s first work or play truck’ and at prices starting at just over $1,900 it couldn’t fail. 1957 was to be the Ranchero’s most successful year. Sales for the following year barely reached 10,000, and in 1959 only just over 14,000. From 1960 the Ranchero shared a platform with the smaller Falcon range.
