Roomier, quicker and of course more up-to-date than its ancestor, the PV444 from 1947. Much loved for its sturdiness and reliability, many were sorry to see it go in 1965 after 244,000 were built. With its 4-cylinder, 1.8 litre, 60 - 95 bhp it also proved to be a competitive rally car. Today a real cult car - the Swedish PV Club alone has 5,000 members.
