When the Bedford CA was introduced in 1952 it changed the format of light van design in the UK. Roomy and stylish with an almost cab-over design, it made its competitors look outmoded overnight.

Early models were fitted with 3spd gearbox and 1508cc engine and later models were fitted with 1595cc engine and an option of a 4spd box.
