These are the 'Spinners' for the LDM 74 wheels.
BODY CASTING - BIG ANDY
Andy is clipping large pieces of flash metal from this LDM 53 body.
PAINT ROOM - BOB
Bob is applying a coat of lacquer to the new RE 25a which is now being produced in a different colour.
FINAL ASSEMBLY - MARK
Mr. Mumbles (as we call him) is assembling the LDM 72.
He's wearing the white glove in homage to Michael Jackson.
(Not really but I thought I'd make the Diary update topical !)
FINAL ASSEMBLY - STEVE
Each licence plate for our models has to be individually painted by hand.
Yes, it does take time and concentration.
FINAL ASSEMBLY - MARTYN
This is the new LDM 73 - 1965 Triumph Herald 13/60 Estate.
HOT HOT HOT
We've been using these a lot this week.
The outside temperature may have been 24 degrees but inside the factory has been even hotter.
Fortunately, Nigel has been buying ice creams for everyone - WIN !!!!!!!

SHOW AND TELL
We had some visitors again this week.
Patrick Donlan and Michael Kidd popped in for a tour.
Patrick is a collector of our models and an avid car enthusiast in general.
This is his Packard Hawk.
The engine was started for us and we're happy to report that the car sounds as good as it looks.

We had to buy a new vacuum cleaner this week because the old one sucked.
Well......it DIDN'T suck that's why we bought a new one.
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK !!!!!!!!!!!
