PATTERN MAKING - DARREN
OH
MY
GOD!!!!
Darren..........................has...................cleaned his workbench.........................................
-
PATTERN MAKING - DARREN
Not too sure what his is.
He wasn't around for me to ask but it looks like a failed attempt at a wheel hub.
Or maybe it's some modern art?
-
PATTERN MAKING - Mr. P
That's more like it, at least Pinker is doing something that looks like a car.
It's the brass master for our new LDM 76, a 1955 Sunbeam Rapier Mk I.
-
PATTERN MAKING - Mr. P
Here you can see one of the scale drawings made by Nigel after he's measured and photographed a real car.
-
SMALL PARTS CASTING - IAN
We're still forging ahead with the new LDM 75 Bentley.
They take a bit longer to do due to the construction methods used and the amount of detail on them.
Ian may be casting these wheel hubs for a bit longer yet.
-
CASTING ROOM - DARREN
This will be why Darren's bench is still tidy - He hasn't done any work on it yet.
He's currently in the casting room making some secondaries for the new BRK 156 - 1937 Oldsmobile L-37 Touring Sedan.
-
FETTLING - DAVE
Another piece of modern art!!!
Dave has had to stack the models up on his bench.
He must be working too fast as there aren't any boxes spare to take them up to the paint room.
-
FETTLING - LITTLE ANDY
Andy has just finished wire-brushing these BRK 155's.
-
BODY CASTING - BIG ANDY
Andy is casting the new BC 008 - a 1934 Buick 4-door Phaeton M-98C.
Here you can see him drilling the holes for the front lights.
-
PAINT ROOM - TIM
NOT a new breed of tree that we're working on, rather the rollers for those rather impressive looking lawnmowers.
We'll have a whole new range section dedicated to them from next week.
-
PAINT ROOM - TIM
These ARE a new breed of plant though
....
Just kidding, it's the blades for the mowers.
Eagle eyed viewers may have spotted that they're up on their ends!
:o)
-
PAINT ROOM - BOB
Bob has just finished spraying this BRK 155 so we can check the colour before ordering in enough paint for the new models.
-
FINAL ASSEMBLY - MARTYN
Some of the new Bentleys finished and ready to be bagged.
