The waste metal that is cleaned off of the castings is collected up and melted down to make new cars.

Besides, if we left all of that flash metal on the castings then they wouldn't be ready for spraying like this LDM 74 is. -

Andy is using car body filler to ......well......fill holes in the car body.We use the same filler that they use on real cars.
It works really well.
