    PATTERN MAKING - DARREN

Darren is cheating by 'Speed sanding'

Nah he isn't, but it's a good technique.

The bar in the end of the drill has a slot to hold a piece of sandpaper.
The paper then 'Laps/Tickles' the metal as it spins.

    PATTERN MAKING - Mr. P

Mr. Pinker has to be VERY careful with this job.

He's shaving a fraction of a millimetre from the window beading of this LDM 77.

One slip and it's a lot work to repair it.

    BODY CASTING - BIG ANDY

The mould for the CSV 007 is just starting to break down.

The heat and pressure that the moulds undergo to cast the models is quite intense.

Eventually they start to decay. When a generous amount of filler is needed it's time to get a new mould made from the master.
