A large batch of etching has arrived - ALL OF IT ACTUALLY.Pretty much all of the models for 2010.
That's quite a lot.

They're both at it!!!!!!Pinker has been applying some etching too.
He's used resin for a nice secure bond, it's on the hot plate so help it cure a bit faster.

Pinker has also been working on some paint masks for the RE 30x.Here you can see hin removing the mask from it's former which is made of resin.
The cardboard surround is to help shape the rubber into a block.

The finished paint mask (right) is what will allow us to produce the RE 30x in this 2-tone colour scheme. -
SMALL PARTS CASTING - LITTLE ANDY
As you can see from this photo, we're very hands-on here at brooklin.Andy is using a sanding block to remove the casting lines from these BRK 153 front seats.

PLATING CASTING - ANDY
Andy has just cast the front bumpers for the BRK 153. -

The US30 is obviously coming through the system as Dave is casting the 'Fifth wheel' for the rear of it. -
BODY CASTING - BIG ANDY
Andy has to be very careful when cutting away the casting lines from the body with a knife.It's a good job he's skilled at it. Note that all of his fingers are still there.

This is the new LDM 45x, our Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire but this time it's finished in black.

MOULD MAKING - NEIL
Nobby Neil has just started work on a body mould for the new IPV 37.
He's using a knife to sculpt the rubber into shape.
