PATTERN MAKING
Here's an unusual sight, one of our cars made of SOLID resin.
This is, of course, one of the blocks that we use to make our paint masks.
A copy of the car body is taken and the mask is manufactured to fit on it exactly minimising the chance of paint leaking through. It's a very successful method.

BODY CASTING - BIG ANDY
These CSV 05's are having hole drilled for the rear lights.
All of our drilling is done by hand,
as is everything here at Brooklin Models.

BODY CASTING - BIG ANDY
Some ingots of the purest silver..........
or they may be white metal.
Out of this one box of ingots Andy should be able to get 150-250 car bodies, depending on the car of course as bigger cars need more metal.

PAINTROOM-HELPER-SOMETIMES - NEIL
Neil came up with this idea for mounting axles ready for spraying.
Since then he's been tasked with filling up the cardboard trays witht the relevent pieces for that schedule.
-
GENIUS?
It's a simple idea really, cut a cardboard box horizontally into layers and make small slits for the axles to sit in.
Re-using old boxes PLUS they then get recycled anyway.
